Trilogy Recovery Community is a grassroots collaboration of parents, youth, concerned citizens, and community leaders who believe that all children deserve to live in a drug-free community. The name “Trilogy” emphasizes the critical importance of Youth, Families, and Community working together to help young people remain drug free.

KATHY KETCHAM, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Kathy has been working in the addiction/recovery field for more than 30 years. She is the coauthor of fourteen books, nine on the subject of addiction and recovery. In 1998 she began volunteering at the Juvenile Justice Center in Walla Walla and in 2003, working with a group of parents, concerned citizens, and county leaders, she helped co-found Trilogy. Kathy grew up in New Jersey and graduated from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York with a B.A. in psychology. She moved to Walla Walla, Washington in 1984 with her husband, Patrick Spencer, a professor of geology at Whitman College. They have three children -- Robyn, 29, a speech/language pathologist in Boston; Alison, 27, a graduate student in the Master’s in Education program at Seattle University; and Benjamin, 25, a Teach for America Corps member in Nashville, TN.
Trilogy is her dream come true.
ASHLEY BUSH, AMERICORPS VOLUNTEER

Ashley Bush was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She just recently graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a bachelors in Psychology. Before she continues her education, Ashley decided to join AmeriCorps and this is how she learned about Walla Walla. After discovering all the great things Trilogy does for the community and the potential it has to grow and make an even more tremendous change, she decided to join our efforts in the town so nice they named it twice.
JACKIE LYNCH, WALLA WALLA UNIVERSITY MSW INTERN
Jackie Lynch is a Walla Walla native and our MSW intern. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in2004 with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. After many twists and turns after graduating from UNLV, Jackie decided to go back to school and is currently working towards her Masters in Social Work. Jackie will be receiving her degree this June of 2012.
